Stijn Roemeling, MD, PhD, works as a urologist at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), a national referral center for complex stone disease in the Netherlands. He specializes in endourology and upper tract stone management, with extensive experience across the full range of PCNL techniques, including ultra‑mini PCNL, mini‑PCNL, conventional PCNL, ECIRS, SBES, and 3D‑PCNL supported by cone‑beam CT. His clinical practice covers infants, children, and adults, including patients with both normal and abnormal anatomy. He is the Principal Investigator of two randomized controlled trials: PRECISE (PCNL versus ECIRS) and CAPTURE (CBCT‑guided PCNL versus conventional PCNL).
