Prof. Evangelos Liatsikos is Chairman of the European School of Urology (ESU) and Professor of Urology at the University Hospital of Patras, where he leads one of the most active academic urology departments in Greece. Recognized internationally for his work in laparoscopy and endourology, he has authored more than 290 peer-reviewed publications and is frequently invited for lectures and live surgeries at major urological congresses around the world. He has held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the European Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT), and has been appointed Guest Professor at the University of Leipzig in Germany and Adjunct Professor at the Medical University of Vienna. His contributions to education and surgical innovation have earned him several distinctions, including the nomination for the “Arthur Smith Endourology Lectureship” and the “Academic Endourology Fellowship Program Director” award at the World Congress of Urology. Prof. Liatsikos is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most influential educators in minimally invasive urology.
